Seriously.

I wrote this book with people in mind, who have not touched the topic of queerness. Who might feel alienated by their oh-so-liberated cousin or overwhelmed with the endless insensitivities they may commit on accident.

However, they are not dumb. They are also, usually, not unkind. Queer oder so is written to respect them, to engage them with stories from queer people’s lives and let them in on our world. Slowly, with care and with the tolerance, we hope to get from them.

After all, if they are reading this, you both want to have one another in your lives.
